Book Three - Village Art Show
Where the Guru asks people to look into their past, present, or future and tell him what they see

Martin from Neverland looked into the Future and said:
Don’t just smash mirrors in one piece. Break them first and leave space between them.
And Memphis from Victoria looked into the Past and said:
I see me, and I really see past me a little bit. I see a strong woman, very decisive, very artsy. I write my own songs from my heart. The future may hold more arts in it for me. Arts, culture, symphony, ballet. All kinds of inspiration in the arts.
I Am from Here looked into the Past and said:
We’re on a cusp. Part of the conclusion you draw from the Multiverse is that there are infinite choices and if enough people make the right choices, the benefits of small acts can increase geometrically. When I was an eleven-year-old boy, I showed this Kenyan woman how my parents and grandparents made the desert bloom, and her group have planted about seventeen million trees in Kenya and her neighbours. So a small act by a child has led to a significant act by this woman who has made a positive change in the climate, and peoples’ lives.
And Consuela probably from Spain looked into the Past and said:
I see people existing in harmony with nature, as a part of nature – and that’s where I am too. I don’t see much else. I’m being distracted by these two-three natural scenes back there – one's of the sunset, the other two are of trees. I would have seen these anyway, if I was capturing what I imagine is a scene from the past.
And Pantheno from Shakespeare’s King Henry VIII, one of the Servants of the King, looked into the Present and said:
Right now I see a cheesy moustache. You’re always searching for how you fit into your surroundings, I suppose. I see someone who hasn’t found his niche quite yet but is making the best of the situation. That’s it. Luckily there are lots of opportunities out there if you look for them.
And Mari from the Ocean looked into the Future and said:
Maybe living beside the ocean, and we can see the ocean every morning, lots of yachts, and the fish flying, and the seagulls, all family around us, and some music; play music, have a studio in the house – classic to pop music, or reggae, hey everything.
And Eryah from I Have No Idea looked into the Future and said:
She sees something about keeping the pool clean. Everything is regenerated through clean waters. That’s what she said in my dream. That’s it.
And Cortez from Queen Charlottes looked into the Present and said:
Progress, new found wisdom, and small steps towards solving big problems. No more moustache. I think I got it.
And Lynda from Chilliwack looked into the Present and said:
Broken. Not peace. Hopeful. I don’t know. Change. It’s funny, the mirror is distracting me.
And Lola from the Kinks song and Kinky Boots looked into the Past and said:
Lots of love, I guess, that’s what comes to mind first. I look at the past and I think they should never have come up with Nuclear bombs. The past can be way back. It’s mind boggling though. I see confusion. I see a lot of fantastic creations I think . I think of the Pyramids, of Michelangelo, things like that. I could think of war and destruction. But most of all I think of beautiful and fantastic things – literature, art, buildings, stuff that’s still standing that they made many thousands of years ago. When you look into it you’re still a whole person, even little bits make a whole.
And Gingerla from I Don’t Have a Clue looked into the Past and said:
What I produced, a calf, food. I would have succeeded in what I wanted to accomplish in my life, what I set my mind to do.
And The Kids from the Yukon looked into the Future and said:
I see I’m not getting older, a new future, a new beginning, somewhere else, happiness, contentment, whatever.
And Sahara from the Desert looked into the Future and said:
A lot of travel in the near future – far, far away – fun, yeah, yeah, heah.
A Woman from a Very Long Time Ago, French Times, where Supposedly her Head got Chopped Off over Love looked into the Present and said:
I can imagine that you have to always live truly in the moment of love. And knowing yourself allows you to know what your true love is. And there is more than one love. There is a variation of love in every moment and that’s what I truly think. And hopefully in time you don’t lose contact with those people, because they can keep wishing you forward. They help you because they know you - a part of you.
A Fighter after Some Sort of Destruction, Post-Humanity, looked into the Future and said:
Fractures. Fractures. Survival. Sustaining. I figure we’re gonna have to pick it up. It’s a tough one.
And a Fighter after Some Sort of Destruction, Post-Humanity, also looked into the Past and said:
A centre. More simplicity. More cohesiveness.
My Sister Holly in North Bay looked into the Future and said:
Lots of children, and also lots of things, or more. Travel, Australia, that’s about it.
Lady Bobelina from In The Mediterranean looked into the Present and said:
I see peace, integrity, fighting for your rights, love, independence, kindness, and harmony, love. She’s a lovely woman, and strength, yeah!
And Nelson Mandela in South Africa, looked into the Future and said:
I see a dream that I’ve accomplished that’s gone awry unfortunately. I wish I could change it, but I am too old of a man now and do not have the clout. The problems are much deeper than my personal issues. That’s about it. Unfortunately it’s hopeless.
A Queen, Many Queens, mostly from Western Europe looked into the Future and said:
Peace, but also to have saiety; to have food – to be satiated in life – to be fed emotionally and nutritionally, in body and in soul, that would be my wish. Saiety. For the world to be satiated, that would be nice. God didn’t make us all equal because then there was diversity, that made it interesting.
And Eagle in the Sky amongst the Clouds at 10,000ft looked into the Future and said:
Tough times, for only a short period. Processing, and then better times. I see mountains in the distance. I’m gonna try a different mirror. Many new inventions and cultures emerging. I think there will be prosperity in years to come. That’s enough.
Lenny Kravitz’s Lover from a Moroccan Tent with Big Pillows in the Desert, and Feathers, looked into the Present and said:
More hot passions, doom, I’m sorry I’m a cynic, but that’s ok I think we’re supposed to be. Everything comes to an end, and man is not special. Another creature or energy field will take over. We’ll have our time.
And Marisa from the Forest looked into the Past and said:
I see little animals, they’re sleeping, all cosy together. Flowers, wind, that’s about it.
And Jenny from the Forest looked into the Future and said:
Wandering and exploring, and enjoying the wonders of the world. I hope and wonder if I’m going to see all the goodness of the world. And if I see the goodness, then the goodness will become real. It manifests itself, kind of spreads and splinters and reflects back.
And Princess Giselda from a Stone Castle on Top of a Hill in the Remote Wilderness of Eastern Russia looked into the Present and said:
Health and happiness. Peace and ample waters of life. Not having to end up buying our vegetables from the Chinese.
And Soaring Flighty Lady in the Air Flying over Hills, Grassy Knolls looked into the Present and said:
Happiness, freedom, flying abilities, more happiness, that’s it.
And Victoria from the Air looked at the Present and said:
Looking inside for the internal, a little bit of time for internalization, self-reflection. As I look at myself, that’s what I felt. I don’t see bread and I don’t see art, but I definitely see calm times. Alone but not lonely.
And Leonard from Bear Lake looked into the Future and said:
Happiness, success, unity, more, love, sustainability, prosperity, kinda trippy, freedom.
And Asif Zardari from in a Prison looked into the Future and said:
A big Swiss bank account, disaster, and I hope I don’t get caught. I still hope to go to heaven after all this, at least that’s what I say.
And Alice in Wonderland from the Magic Land of Oz, in a Little Playhouse in the Cedar Forest, a Play Garden, looked at the Present and said:
We can’t predict what will happen. We have to accept. Happiness is my foremost importance. Be happy with what we have. Be happy with situations around. Embrace our life and enjoy it, celebrate it. I think it’s important to be grounded in who we are, where we are, and appreciate what we have. We’re always rushing, striving to get, get somewhere. We think we should have more but we have so much already. It doesn’t get any better. It’s easy to look at what somebody has and wanna have that, wanna be there, the grass is always greener. But it doesn’t get any better. But it’s taken a lotta years to get to that. A passage in time and a passage in life. I’m into celebrating life and I think that’s important. Every day you’ve gotta enjoy every minute of it. It s a yogi thing. Just breathing and clearing everything. Stay focused, stay happy, stay healthy.
And Jimi Hendrix from the Grave Right Now looked into the Past and said:
I see myself not making my mistakes, overdosing on drugs, I see myself going down a different past, to continue to produce rich lively music to contribute to the rock genre. Peace for the people of the world. One for peace. Maybe love for humankind, but more peace. Speak through my music. There’s the love of the universe. One another.
And Lance Armstrong on a Bike looked at the Present and said:
A cancer-free world, active population, everybody has a bike, drug-free.
And India from India looked into the Past and said:

I see inner peace, more people living in community, abundance of knowledge and life, plenty of fishing, hunting, food, no corporate greed, affordability, children, wellness, I’m good.
And Beethoven from Italy, not Germany, looked into the Present, and said:
Music, feeling, hope.
And Guy Lafleur from Quebec looked into the Future and said:
Family peace, people working hard and playing hard, everyone being able to have fun and being safe.
